Fromm P330- Combination Sealless Strapping Tool
Many industries are switching over to battery operated tools. They are also switching over to combination tools that are battery operated and a great convenience. The Fromm P330 is a very convenient and easy to use tool that has a great tension.
Like all the Fromm tools, the P330 is also ergonomical and a well balanced tool for all strapping positions. It is a relatively small sized tool with a small handle and can be operated in a single handed motion. The tool has an easy strap threading process and offers adjustable sealing time.
The P330’s battery is lithium ion and this is a very powerful battery brought out by Bosch. Being battery powered the strapping gets much simplified. While operating the tool both straps are inserted together and a welding lever locks in the bottom position and prepares for the next strap insertion during the welding and cooling process.

The P330 welds after pulling a maximum tension of 1350 pounds and has a quick battery exchange using the latest Li-Ion battery technology. This tool comes with 2 Lithium Ion batteries and a charger. The battery is very dependable and charges very quickly too.
All Fromm’s tools are of high quality and comes with a good manual which insist safety precautions while using the tool. Though the tool is relatively easy to use, it is best to use it wisely wearing gloves and goggles consulting the manual. P330 comes with a charge indicator and can strap 200 to 300 application per charge.
As the P330 uses poly strapping it proves to be a very cost effective tool. The friction weld sealing provides about 75% joint efficiency. Many industry users are not comfortable using any seal other than a metal seal. However, the friction weld sealing has proved time and again that it is stronger than traditional sealing. This tool also achieves a strap tension of 250 to 1300 pounds. Another battery operated combination tool is the BXT2-19, and is considered the fastest tool in the market from Signode. It is also three pounds lighter than P330.
The P330 is the first heavy duty tool to enter the market and now its counterpart P331 has been launched and can use d1” to 1.25” poly strapping. The P330 can be used with a suspension bracket for stationary applications.
