The P326 is a sealless and battery operated combination tool for poly strapping and has a lot of advantages that help increase the efficiency in the work place. The battery used in the tool is the 18V Lithium-ion and this operates the tension and sealing process, reducing the weight to 8.7 pounds.

Moreover, the adjustable tension speed of the P326 helps the worker to chose the tension force depending on the individual application. Depending on the strap quality the average seal strength in this tool is about 75 %. Fromm’s, P326 comes with 2 batteries and a charger. At present there is also a larger capacity lithium-ion battery available. The battery in P326 gives about 1/3 more run time to the strapping tool.
Another valuable advantage to this tool is that there are no air lines running through the work space and this helps the worker move about without any hindrance and this helps increase productivity. Industry experts however, feel that these tools are not as strong as their pneumatic counterparts, but the P326 is equal to or better than the pneumatic tools, because it applies even greater tension than the pneumatic tools. Being a combination tool, it completes all three strapping functions like tensioning, sealing and cutting and uses the friction weld technology to apply a sealless joint. Friction welding is nothing but a sealing process that creates heat through friction between two pieces of poly strapping.
